I'm so excited to make this dessert today because I'm from Washington state myself!

Apples are extremely popular in Washington, so I decided to make my favorite apple crisp to celebrate!

Washington grows more apples than any other state, and they are the largest agricultural product here in the Evergreen state. The apples grow on over 175,000 acres of orchards!

Washinton growers produce 6 out of every 10 apples that are consumed in the United States.

Washington grows over 30 total apple varieties but is best known for eight. Washington apples are then exported to 60 countries around the world!
