Day 312: Browned Butter Gnocchi with Thyme

I love the flavor of the browned butter with the thyme and gnocchi. I think the browned butter paired with thyme really brings out the flavor of the gnocchi.

Gnocchi is made out of potatoes. All you have to do is to mix the potatoes, flour, salt, and pepper. Then make a well in the center to add your eggs.

If you want to be fancy, cut the gnocchi according to the recipe below. Next, take the back of a fork and roll the little gnocchi onto it. This will create a design.

This is optional, but I really like the result! You can also just leave the gnocchi with no crimping, which is less time-consuming.

Gnocchi will soon be your favorite pasta! You can replace all-purpose flour, with whole wheat flour. You won't even know the difference! The beautiful flavor of the browned butter is simple but tastes rich and amazing. It complements the gnocchi so well!
