These cookies taste like brownies with their crackly tops but are in the form of cookies. They're fantastic!
In a way, this recipe is kind of like a crinkle cookie without powdered sugar. Yet, these cookies taste so much like a normal brownie that I had to name them brownie cookies.
I love how the chocolate tastes, and the fact that there are only five ingredients. Not to mention no butter or oil, and still, the cookies remain fudgy!
These cookies don't spread (there is no baking powder or baking soda) so you're going to have to flatten them with your hand gently. Keep baking your cookie until it has little cracks, or "crinkles".
I wanted to make something similar to my easy peanut butter cookies but without the peanuts. I thought a chocolate variation would be amazing! I'm happy to say that it worked perfectly, with crisp crackly tops, that you'll just love!
