Day 28: Chocolate Banana Bread

I have to say this bread is HEAVENLY! It's super easy to make on account that you only need one bowl, and no mixer required! With this recipe I made a small loaf and 5 muffins. You can make it in a either a bigger loaf tin or just have tons of muffins!

I liked recipe because all you have to do is mix everything, and no mixer required. It's quick and easy and taste really good with white chocolate chips.

With this recipe I could only make a small loaf and 5 muffins. Bake for 30 minutes if you are using a loaf and 25 minutes if using muffin tins.

RECIPE:

INGREDIENTS:

4 bananas

1/2 cup butter (melted!)

1/2 cup sugar

1 1/2 cups flour

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 egg (beaten)

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 semi-sweet chocolate chips (melted for 15 seconds)

1/4 cup white chocolate chips (Don't melt!)

STEPS: Preheat oven to 350 degrees, and butter a loaf tin.

Mash bananas and add the melted butter. Once combined add all the other ingredients in making sure that both chocolate chips are added LAST! Add batter to loaf/muffin tin and sprinkle a few white chocolate chips over the top. Bake for 30 minutes IF using a loaf tin. If using a muffin tin, baking for 25 minutes.

Stick to these times, if when inserting a toothpick, and they come out sticky (and you've cooked it long enough) then take out and leave to cool for 30 minutes.

Enjoy!
