Hello everyone,
I'm sorry that yesterday, my post was sent multiple times due to an issue with my blog hosting site. I'm hoping that this will not happen again. :)
Nevertheless, fig pizza is amazing! It's sweet and savory at the same time.
You can also play with the sauces and toppings. They're so many options!
I chose tomato sauce with mozzarella cheese and figs. It tasted delicious. But you can also try pesto sauce, cheese, that's topped with some figs, and arugula.
You need to cut your figs into small pieces. Otherwise your pizza will be too sweet.
This pizza combination is seriously addicting! If you've ever had an eggplant pizza, and like the texture but not taste, this is pizza is perfect. It has a similar texture, but it's sweet and yummy!

RECIPE:
INGREDIENTS:
2 – 2 ¼ cups bread flour
1 tablespoon granulated sugar
1 1/2 teaspoon salt
1 packet of Instant Yeast
1 cup warm water
3 figs, cut into small chunks
1 1/2 cups sauce of choice
1 cup mozzarella cheese
Toppings (optional)
STEPS:
Combine flour, sugar, salt, and yeast in a medium bowl. Slowly pour in the water, and knead. Let the dough proof in a warm spot for 10 minutes.
Meanwhile preheat your oven to 500 degrees, and cut your figs into chunks. Once your dough is ready, stretch it into a large 12" round.
Roll the edges, creating a crust and add your filling/toppings. Bake for 10 minutes.
Enjoy!
