Day 193: Marble Banana Muffins

Writer: The Bored BakerThe Bored Baker

These banana muffins are so cute! They're quick and look amazing. To get their marble appearance you simply put one spoonful of banana batter and one spoonful of the chocolate banana batter and swirl it with a toothpick.

These banana muffins are my family's go to recipe. We've been making them for the longest time and they always work out. It's not to sweet, but gooey and of course filled with bananas in every bite! But adding this chocolate swirl made this muffin base even better! For all you chocolate lovers - this is for you!

Plus it's not like you just take melted chocolate chips and layer it with the banana batter. Nope! You actually fold in the melted chocolate chips with one cup of the banana batter. This way you will still taste the bananas even with the chocolate.

When I began making this recipe, I wanted to make it in a loaf pan. Unfortunately there wasn't enough batter, so I put it in muffin tins.

I actually like muffins better than quick breads, because they're easier to eat, so this was perfect! Another plus was that muffins cook faster than normal quick bread so that was great!
