Day 246: Overnight Oats

These are a quick healthy recipe for overnight oats. Do practically all the work the night before, chill them in the fridge, and add your toppings or flavor in the morning. It's so simple, and tasty that you have to make it!

I'm a sweet-tooth by heart, and the words "healthy" and "oats" are not my favorite words.

Despite my obligations, I decided to try these overnight oats anyway. I actually enjoyed the process of making it, it was fun to mix the oats with the milk and add different flavors!

The next morning, when I tasted the first bite, I was addicted. It wasn't at all what I had expected. In fact it was far from that. This recipe tasted like pudding that was so creamy and delicious at the same time.

Today I'm showing you how to do 4 different variations of this recipe.

  1. Classic (you can add nuts)

  2. Chocolate - for 1 jar add 1 tablespoon cocoa powder

  3. Blue Butterfly Pea Powder* - for 1 jar add 1 tablespoon blue butterfly pea powder

  4. Raspberries - for 1 jar add 1/4 cup chopped raspberries

*Blue Butterfly Pea Powder is a powder that naturally colors your oats blue!

I hope you enjoy making these overnight oats as much as I did! They are an easy breakfast treat that are totally customizable and have the consistency of pudding, but healthier!
