Muffins are a great way to start any morning, and I love to snack on them later, throughout the day, too.
I've made a lot of muffins on this blog, but usually, I don't use chocolate in them. To me, chocolate muffins from the grocery store feel very sugary and are often like a cupcake.
However, these chocolate strawberry muffins are different. There isn't too much sugar, and it gives me energy for my day ahead.
This is also perfect for anyone who loves chocolate-covered strawberries because it is essentially that but in muffin form!
RECIPE:
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup whole wheat flour
¼ cup cocoa powder
¼ cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
¼ cup oil
¼ cup milk
¼ cup yogurt
¾ cup chopped strawberries
STEPS:
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F, and line a muffin tin (this makes for about six muffins) with liners.
In a large bowl, mix all your ingredients. With a cookie scoop, divide the batter into muffin tins.
Bake for 20-25 minutes and serve!
Enjoy!
